Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-09-06
Upgogo.org (referred to here as "Upgogo," "we," "us," or "our") is a static informational and affiliate website. This page explains what happens, and what doesn't happen, when you visit the site. We've tried to write it in plain language rather than dense legal filler, because most privacy policies are harder to read than they need to be.
1. Information We Collect
Upgogo.org does not collect personal information from visitors. This is a static site with no user accounts, no login system, and no forms that save what you type into a database. We do not run analytics tools, tracking pixels, or advertising scripts by default. If that ever changes, we'll update this policy to reflect it, rather than quietly adding tracking behind the scenes.
2. Cookies
Upgogo.org itself does not set cookies to track you. However, when you click through to a third-party retailer from one of our pages, that retailer's website may set its own cookies to manage your session, remember your cart, or track referral information for affiliate purposes. Those cookies are controlled by the retailer, not by us, and are subject to that retailer's own cookie practices.
3. Third-Party Links
Upgogo.org is an affiliate site. Most of our pages contain links to third-party retail websites where you can view or purchase products we write about. Once you leave Upgogo.org and land on one of those sites, our privacy policy no longer applies. The retailer's own privacy policy governs any information collected there, including anything related to your purchase, account, or browsing activity on their platform. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any third-party site before providing information to it.
4. Contact Form
If Upgogo.org includes a contact form, any message you submit through it is used only to respond to your inquiry. The form does not store submissions in a database on our end, and we do not add your information to a mailing list or share it with third parties. Once we've replied to your message, there's nothing left on our side tying that message to you.
5. Children's Privacy
Upgogo.org is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone in that age group. Since the site doesn't collect personal information from any visitor regardless of age, there's no separate data-handling process for younger users to worry about.
6. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) may give you certain rights regarding personal information collected by businesses. Because Upgogo.org does not collect, sell, or share personal information, there is currently no personal data on file for us to disclose, delete, or opt you out of. If you have questions about how the CCPA applies to your visit to our site, you can reach out using the contact details below.
7. GDPR (European Visitors)
Visitors from the European Union may be covered by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which grants rights around access, correction, and deletion of personal data. As with the CCPA, Upgogo.org does not collect or store personal data from visitors, so there is no data held on EU visitors to act upon. If you believe this has changed or you have concerns, please contact us and we'll look into it.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, whether to reflect changes in how the site operates or simply to clarify existing language. Any updates will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date at the top. We don't send out notices for minor edits, so checking back occasionally is the best way to stay informed.
9. Contact
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or how Upgogo.org operates, you can reach us through our contact page. We read every message and will respond as soon as we're able.
